by day, lissa lowe is freelance brand architect who specializes in marketing, creative and editorial consulting. she has previously held worldwide marketing / advertising roles at levi strauss & co., apple inc., and intel corporation as well positions at international and regional advertising agencies. she led the dynamic launch for the god box project that earned millions of media impressions for mary lou quinlan's book, "the god box: sharing my mother's gift of faith, love and letting go" that became a new york times bestseller in three weeks. other clients have included beauty-licious avon, tech darling brit morin of the media and e-commerce platform brit + co., colorful platypus designer duct tape, luxe mcguire furniture company, and full-service book-maker chapel hill press.

as a graduate of the school of journalism and mass communication at the university of north carolina at chapel hill and as a published magazine writer herself, lissa is big on storytelling and firmly believes in the transformative power of the written word. she relishes books, locally sourced foodstuffs, world travel, and hoops time with her young son rooting on the tar heels!
