our story - about us
here’s how it all began….
from sanibel island to nantucket to chicago, our paths crossed numerous times from childhood to adolescence. although destiny tried to intervene, we did not actually meet until we were both living in san francisco and, well, grown up. we just clicked (phew!) while shopping for baby showers and birthday gifts one foggy day, we were dismayed at the selection of togs available to us. we yearned for something simple, but fun. something well made, not just well known. something "boutique-y," not bank breaking. something cute, but clever.... no luck. |

we thought, "why not create something ourselves?"
so, with a scribble of a pen and a sprinkle of good luck, fuss was
conceived by the bay and born out of love. (our marriage came soon
thereafter.)
